Thom Woodley Info and Filmography

Thom Woodley is an American actor, writer and producer who plays the role of Paul in the web TV show The All for Nots. The All for Nots are an indie punk band from the United States who have turned their life into a web TV show. Thom has an impressive filmography, being very active in movie related industries such as sound editing, composing, directing and producing.

Woodley, before staring in The All for Nots, initially wrote all the 12 episodes for the internet sitcom The Burg, the original show from the producers of The All for Nots. Woodley contributed to all the 12 episodes as an actor, but also as a writer and composer.

His filmography includes titles like The Temp Life, a TV mini-series, where he plays the role of Stormy Simonsen for 10 episodes. He was also casting director for the TV series Jack in a Box and appeared in All’s Faire. As a producer, he worked on three projects: The Burg, The All for Nots and All’s Faire. He contributed to writing the show about an indie band that travels the country in search for local concerts, proving an excellent understanding of indie music. Indie music is different from mainstream, commercial music because the artists and bands that play it don’t sign contracts with major record companies that do everything for them. Indie bands have to promote themselves, do their own marketing, record in their own studios and do their own distribution. They also have to find concerts on their own. That is why the band from the show travels independently and sings only for local crowds. Woodley proved to be a musical inspiration too because he wrote some of the songs from the show and spent a lot of his time in the sound department.
